This policy explains how Dack Hire LTD (“we”, “us”), part of Dack Motor Group, collects and uses personal data through this website. What we collect

We only collect personally identifiable information — such as your name, business name, telephone number and email address — when you provide it voluntarily: by submitting the enquiry form, or by calling or emailing us. This website does not require an account and does not collect personal data in the background.

How we use it

We use the details you provide to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, open and manage hire accounts, and administer hire agreements. Where you become a customer, we keep records needed to manage the hire (including driver identification and insurance documents) and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We will not sell your personal data, and we will not share it with any company or person outside Dack Motor Group without your prior consent, unless we are required to do so by law.

Enquiry form processing

Our enquiry form is provided by Zoho (Bigin CRM), which processes form submissions on our behalf so that our hire team can manage your enquiry. Zoho acts as a data processor for this purpose.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Customer and contract records are kept for the duration of the hire relationship and thereafter as required for legal, tax and insurance purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access it, correct it, and ask for it to be deleted. If you have already submitted personal data and would like it removed from our records, contact us and we will use reasonable efforts to delete your information. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
